Tell us your phone, your car or head unit, which world you were in and what happened. A screenshot helps, if it's safe to take one.
Common problems
- Overworld isn't in the car's app list
- Open Android Auto's settings on the phone, go to Customize launcher and turn it on. Then check you have the Google Play copy: a sideloaded APK only shows in some cars. See the Android Auto guide.
- The app stops when the phone is locked
- Open Settings in the app, then Phone locked, and let it run unrestricted in the background. Samsung phones in particular can freeze apps otherwise.
- Music stays quiet during a trip
- Update to version 0.5.3 or newer. Older builds could keep other audio turned down.
- It says "Location not found"
- The phone has lost GPS for a while. The app says so instead of showing a frozen marker. Guidance carries on when the fix returns.
- I can't install the Play copy over the APK
- They are signed differently. Uninstall one first. Uninstalling deletes your saved places, because they live only on your phone.
